Kọwaa ski gị: akụkọ ifo na-egbuke egbuke na Austria

For skiers and snowboarders, a trip to the Austrian slopes is like winning the lottery. But for those who last rode at school, it will give an interesting experience and incredible impressions. After traveling to the Salzburg region, everyone will certainly have a new love – for snow, slopes and the Alps.

To be honest, the last time I went skiing was at school, in PE class. Since then, I haven’t thought about them, they were so strongly associated with an unloved subject. Nevertheless, she did not refuse the invitation to visit the most fashionable ski slopes in Austria. I gladly agreed to this adventure, because life is boring without new impressions.

Like in a circus

I went to the popular resort of Saalbach-Hinterglemm in the Glemmtal valley, where outdoor enthusiasts come from all over the world. According to the most demanding tourists, they know how to please and surprise guests here: well-developed infrastructure, untouched nature. But the main thing is the tracks. They are equipped and interconnected in such a way that they are comfortable for both extreme lovers and beginners like me. I declare this as a person who made the first independent descent!

Even the very name of the region – “Ski Circus” – reflects the incredible possibilities of super-active recreation. If you find yourself in these places, you should definitely get to the upper reaches of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm valley, here, at the level of tree crowns, the highest altitude route in Europe – Baumzipfelweg – is laid.

It passes through the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps. From a height of 42 m, there is an incredible panoramic view of the mountains and the ropes course with obstacles. There, right in the branches of the trees, play stations for children and adults are hidden – a whole world that awaits adventurers.

Another attraction that deserves attention is mountain sleigh rides. Just imagine: you take the funicular up to a height of 1800 m, get into the sleigh and go down with the breeze. I confess that the first time to roll along the serpentine with subdued lighting was scary to the point of sinking my heart. But at the finish line, I wanted to immediately get up and once again experience the whole kaleidoscope of emotions.

By the way, about emotions. Follow them to another part of the ski circus, Saafelden-Leogang. On the way, climb the peak of the Kitzsteinhorn mountain, which rises above the town of Zell am See-Kaprun: such beauty, perhaps, is still to be looked for! And you can dream and be alone with your thoughts while walking on snowshoes. You walk along the slope in dense sparkling snow, literally inhale the unreal beauty around, enjoy the moment and promise yourself to return to the mountains to conquer the next track.
