In eight years, 44-year-old Samantha Dorricot has lost all of her girls. They passed away tragically – one by one, suddenly and prematurely.

“Losing a child is unimaginably painful. I lost all three of my daughters. It doesn’t matter How long time has passed since then. I can never come to terms with this, ”says the unfortunate mother. The only consolation she has left is a son and two grandchildren, whom she brings up after the death of her daughters. “Of course, I cannot replace their mother. Nobody can. But I will do everything to make my grandchildren happy. ” Samantha is determined.

In the living room, there are photographs of all her dead daughters. Four-year-old Chantal and three-year-old Jenson, the grandchildren of Samantha, greet and kiss their mothers every day. “This is our ritual,” explains the grandmother. People on the streets, seeing her with babies, think that she just became a mom a little late. “No one can imagine what a tragedy our smiles hide,” the woman shakes her head.

Fate struck the first blow to Samantha in 2009. Her youngest daughter, 15-year-old Emilia, went to a friend’s party and never came back. As it turned out, the teenagers decided to experiment with “laughing” pills. Emily’s body could not bear such “fun” – the girl went out the door and fell down dead.

The nightmare repeated itself three years later. The eldest, Amy, was only 21 years old. Jensen is her son. Amy died when the boy was only 11 months old. The girl had many health problems from birth. Doctors generally did not advise her to give birth. But she made up her mind. After giving birth, Amy contracted a severe infection, one lung refused. And 11 months later, she suffered a massive stroke. Almost immediately – another one. The girl fell into a coma, she was connected to a life support apparatus. But when, upon further examination, it turned out that Amy also had cancer – tumors were found in the liver and intestines, there was no hope. Amy died.

Only one girl survived, 19-year-old Abby. She gave birth very early, when she was only 16 years old. Samantha was just sitting with her daughter, when suddenly her heart skipped a beat: the mother was haunted by the thought that something had happened to her daughter. Samantha rushed to Abby’s house and started banging on the door. The girl did not open it. Samantha peered inside through the mail slot in the door and saw thick black smoke drifting across the floor. The door was knocked out by Samantha’s common-law husband, Robert. But it was too late: Abby suffocated in the smoke. She just forgot a frying pan of potatoes on the stove on. The girl fell asleep, and when she woke up, she did not have enough strength to get out of the house: she tried to crawl to the door, but could not. And Samantha, half-dead from grief, still had to tell her granddaughter that her mother was no more.

“I miss them so much. Sometimes I don’t have the strength to live on. But I have to – for the sake of the grandchildren, – says Samantha. “I want them to know what wonderful people my daughters were. Their mothers. “
