Ihe kpatara eji machibido ndị Europe iwu inwe nkịta: Otu ihe kpatara mwute

“Today they brought me a healthy and beautiful puppy to be euthanized,” says a Berlin veterinarian in a group dedicated to animal shelter on the social network. – First they took him home, and then they realized that they were in a hurry: people were not ready for so much fuss with the puppy. Not ready for responsibility. In addition, it turned out that this dog will grow up quite large and energetic. And the owners didn’t think of anything better how to put him to sleep. ”

People are also not ready for the fact that they have to pay tax for a puppy: from 100 to 200 euros annually. The tax on a fighting dog is higher – up to 600 euros. Only those who need a dog for a good reason do not pay taxes: for example, if it is a guide for a blind person or is in the police service.

This sad story of a puppy who suddenly turned out to be not needed is not an isolated one.

“We are faced with similar things every day. Only this week, five dogs under the age of 12 months were brought to us. Some of them manage to find a place for them, but some don’t, ”the veterinarian continues.

Therefore, the German authorities have banned the taking of animals from shelters until the pandemic ends. After all, then, what good, they will be taken back en masse. Or even to put to sleep, like that unfortunate puppy. You can still buy puppies. When a person laid out money for a pet, and a lot, he probably weighed everything properly, and is unlikely to just throw the puppy out of the house. Yes, and will not give up to sleep.

By the way, Germany is one of the last countries where dog taxes still exist. But there are no stray animals there – many shelters are kept in the country on fines and fees, where a pet immediately gets caught, seen on the street without supervision.

But dogs are so miraculously transformed when they find a home. Just look at these photos!
